Laboratory for testing the quality of animal feed
The basic components of the device are a lamp with a hollow cathode (four lamps in fixed positions; the choice of lamp depends on the element being analyzed), monochromator, correction system (Zeeman’s correction), atomizer (flame), graphite furnace, detector and computer with SpectrAA Base iPRO software. The device is used to determine traces of metals and metalloids in liquid and solid samples. It is used for quantitative analysis of metals and metalloids in biological samples, samples of water, air, soil, food. The application of ETAAS allows a low limit of detection. Preparation of samples in the solid state implies the application of some of the mineralization procedures.
