The Soxterm unit has 4 sites for simultaneous sample extraction. Adjustment of extraction parameters depends on solvent and sample type. System is connected to a computer for automatic extraction. There is a tank for easy solvent discharge. The Soxtherm extractor is used to extract and determine the fat content in various samples. First, the sample is demineralized depending on the fat content in individual samples.
